United States Department of Treasury: TRANSPARENCY ACT INFORMATION
The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), part of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 and effective from January 1, 2024, introduces essential changes for U.S. small business owners. This law aims to prevent money laundering and other illicit activities by increasing ownership transparency in LLC’s, corporations, and similar business entities. For more information:

The Bridges@Work program provides assistance to Geauga County employees who are coping with challenges that affect productivity at work.This innovative program provides employees with resources and services to help them maintain employment and succeed in the workplace. A dedicated, on-site Resource Coordinator assists with financial issues, childcare, substance abuse, housing, transportation, eldercare and more. Bridges@Work is offered at no cost to employees who work at partner locations. Employees also have access to Personal Finance Classes which are available onsite for employees to learn about managing personal finances, navigating financial challenges, and working toward financial stability.
